VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteer to work in the lobby before the show and during intermission. You do NOT need a security clearance and you can still attend the performance.
Opportunities include...
Flowers, 50/50 Raffles, Raffle Basket, Concessions, and Candy Grams.
Volunteer Backstage before, during or after a performance. You MUST have your security clearances . Depending on when you volunteer, you may not be able to attend the performance.
Opportunities include...
Costume support, Hair Styling (may include wigs), Make up
Volunteer to donate snacks and other items needed by the cast and crew during show nights like gold fish crackers, water bottles, tissues, cough drops and tea. Or volunteer to make a raffle basket that we can raffle off in the lobby on show nights.
PRE-ORDER FLOWERS
This year the West Allegheny Musical Boosters are offering the opportunity to pre-order beautiful floral bouquets designed by local business owners and longtime musical fans of 2 Buds Floral Design. Order your flowers below using the link to pay online with a credit card. Choose the show date you would like to pick them up and we will have the flowers ready for you in the lobby when the doors open. We will have a LIMITED amount of bouquets for sale in the lobby each night, so if you want to be sure that we don't run out, pre-ordering is the way to go!

SECURITY CLEARANCES
All parent volunteers need to have criminal background clearances that are updated every five years.

Once you have received all three clearances, please submit all three to Mr. McBurney or drop them off at the District Office.
Be sure to retain a copy of your clearances for your files and for future needs i.e. community organizations or religious affiliations. Requests for copies of clearances after submission to the District will not be fulfilled.
Security Clearances are required for any volunteer working directly with students. This would include helping with hair and makeup, serving tech week meals, organizing costumes and working the cast/crew party.

If you have been a Pennsylvania resident for ten (10) years, and have not been convicted of any crime listed in the Child Protective Services Law, you may submit a residency affirmation form in lieu of the Act 114 FBI (fingerprint). This form must be notarized.
